Intuitive Cranial Sacral Therapy

Intuitive Cranial Sacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on modality which evaluates and enhances the function of the cranial sacral system to shift underlying causes of dis-ease; when these are addressed, the body’s symptomatic responses dissipate.  ICST may relieve headaches and migraines, anxious feelings, chronic conditions, fatigue, body tension, mental/emotional upset, and much more.  During an ICST session, restrictions in the cranial sacral system are released through gentle holds improving the overall function of the nervous system.  With her innate sensitivity and strong connection to Divine guidance, Jo intuitively works with your body’s bones (especially the cranium), membranes, and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord to create flow and balance.  This holistic process begins the “unwinding” of stored energies and emotions in your physical body, especially in the bones of your spine, sacrum, and skull.  Intuitive Cranial Sacral Therapy works on a multi-dimensional level allowing for the unconscious rebalancing of body, mind, and spirit.  Clients often report feeling deeply relaxed while, at the same time, feeling that they have experienced a profound level of internal, personal healing. 

The Cleveland Clinic advocates CST for the relief of tension in the central nervous system as it promotes a feeling of well-being, calms painful physical sensations, and boosts health and immunity. This therapy has been successfully used with both adults and children.  Cleveland Clinic suggests that experiencing CST may be beneficial for, but is not limited to, these conditions:  Chronic pain; Fibromyalgia; Migraine headache; Complex regional pain syndrome; Fascial adhesions; Multiple sclerosis; Neuralgia; Neurodegenerative diseases; Temporo-mandibular joint syndrome; Stroke; Post-concussion syndrome; Speech impairment; and Epilepsy.

Sessions are 90 minutes long; the client comfortably relaxes on a massage table fully clothed during a session.  Soft music and lighting enhance the experience.  Jo is a certified Level 3 Intuitive Cranial Sacral practitioner and offers Intuitive Cranial Sacral Therapy sessions by appointment.
